At Zion, our youth groups are open to everyone! Have a friend who is not a member of Zion? Doesn’t matter! Like our third guiding principles states we are “Welcoming and inviting of all people”. We want this principle to be carried out in all aspects of Zion, including our youth groups. At both of our Jr. High (J-Walkers- Jr. Highers Walking with Jesus) and High School (Ignite) youth groups, you matter and we want to walk with you in all aspects of life. Yes! Our J-Walkers youth group is structured for all students in grades 6-8. You can expect to meet once a month for 2 hours at a time. During our time together we play games, have snacks, and of course, a time of faith growing together. Invite your friends and be ready for a high energy experience. Be on the lookout for the next J-Walkers event!

Of course! Ignite (formally know as LYO) will be meeting almost every week on Wednesdays from 8:00-9:30pm. The options are limitless when it comes to this group! Some favorites have been Kahoot or Jeopardy game night, making Valentine’s Day cards for our members who are in nursing homes, and anytime we can cook together. Ignite will meet in the summer, the times and day are subject to change. If you have any questions regarding either youth groups, please feel free to reach out to Kortni at the church office.
