Scholarship for attending college students
Scholarship application for college students working as a full-time summer camp staff at Camp Metigoshe.
- All applications should be returned to the Zion Lutheran Church Trust Committee for consideration by August 31st.
- Scholarship is available exclusively to members of Zion Lutheran Church attending an accredited college.
- Scholarship payment will be mailed directly to the institution's Financial Aid Office upon receipt of class registration and transcript from previous semester.
Guidelines for scholarship
1) Scholarship will be paid by semester.
2) Scholarship amount will be based upon years working as camp staff.
a) 1 year working at camp = $250/semester
b) 2 years working at camp = $500/semester
c) 3 years working at camp = $750/semester
d) 4 or more years working at camp = $1,000/semester
3) First year students must submit a class registration for first semester to show full time student status.
4) After the first semester, students must submit a class registration to show continued full time student status and transcript of previous semester to show completion of courses before funds will be submitted to college.
5) Submit applications to the Trust Committee (church office) or email zionbookkeeper@srt.com.
6) A new application must be submitted for each academic year.
